Insurance and Payment

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of service. Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted.

Insurance

As a United Health Insurance provider, all services can be covered by your co-pay. Products and tests not included.

For non United Heath Insurance clients, our services are considered out-of-network. Once the out-of-network deductible is met, our services are covered by paying the co-insurance percentage specified by your policy. The customary amount is $30. Please call for pre-certification.

We bill insurance as a courtesy for our clients. Acupuncture is the fastest growing benefit to insurance policies. Please call for pre-certification.

TEXFLEX/Medical Savings Accounts

Acupuncture, considered a medical device by the IRS, is an allowable expense for any medical savings type account. These accounts allow justifiable medical expenses to be paid with pre-tax dollars, so the tax you would normally pay on income is saved. Just bring your card, and we can swipe it like a credit card. Products and test are not included, and must be paid separately.

Health Networks

Health care networks allow members to receive discounted services. These plans are usaually associated with insurance companies or employers. As a provider for Amercian Whole Health Networks, Inc., we offer 20% discount on all servces, products and tests not included. Check with your insurance company for membership.

Payment Plans

Several payment plans are available. Our goal at the Quan Yin center is to not let finances be a barrier to getting preventative healthcare. Please let us know if finances are restricted so that we can tailor a plan to fit your needs.

Care Credit

Available as a comprehensive plan, covers all services, in-house tests, and products. Administered by CareCredit, allows purchase of a treatment plan with no interest paid in monthly installments. Ideal for clients wanting fixed payments who are working to resolve chronic health problems. All that is required is a decent credit score. Please call for pre-certification, or additional information.

Wellness Plans

Designed as a comprehensive plan, covers all services, in-house tests, and products. The best plan to reduce overall costs, prvovides for 20% discount on all services. Requiring payment up-front, your account is credited for a specially designed treatment plan. No deadlines exist on usage, and any balance for unused services can be refunded if requested within 30 days of request. Ideal for clients who want to commit to resolving chronic health problems and reducing costs.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or changes not made 24 hours in advance are subject to a $50 charge.
