Austin Quan Yin is a lovely practice. Steven East, who I saw for a tuina appointment, is incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and skillful! I left the treatment table feeling much more educated about what was ailing me and freshly empowered knowing there was something I could do about my chronic pain. My muscles and joints both felt a whole lot better after receiving some care from him. Highly recommend!
I went in for a Tuina session with Steven East, he was very thorough with his intake and addressed the target areas that needed extra attention. He's very knowledgeable and understands how the body functions, allowing him to use his skillfull techniques to focus on certain areas that required manual therapy. I highly recommend Steven and I had an overall great experience. I left feeling so much better and in less pain afterwards.
Bryn has excellent experience with multiple treatments in eastern medicine and acupuncture which can help restore overall health and integrative balance. She is compassionate, caring, and attentive to detail. I highly recommend Bryn as a seasoned practitioner who can bring a holistic approach to restoring your health and wellness.
Dianne is the most compassionate and caring functional medical practitioner you will ever find. I feel so lucky to have found her. She found deficiencies in me that no other doctor I had been too ever bothered to test. I know I'm on my way to the best health yet. She makes you feel confident and strong while in your recovery. She's priceless. Austin's hidden gem.
Dianne Duncan is an incredible individual that I have had the privilege over the years to (really) know. She is the most gifted diagnostician in the realm of natural medicine that I have ever met. Currently, I am seeing Dianne for treatment in health maintenance. More importantly, she loves to heal people and rejoices with you in the results. She especially loves to hear how it has affected/improved your life.
I was instantly relaxed when I walked through the doors. Bryn greeted me and was a very thoughtful listener and easy conversationalist. She took the time to address my health concerns. She explained her methods and how they relate to my issues. I chose cupping and acupuncture and felt so relaxed after I left. I will definitely be going back.
My first acupuncture appointment with Bryn Canuck was very relaxing and effective. She was very thorough in the intake and addressed my concerns. Her practice involves a holistic approach with great attention to detail. The office space is tucked away off of Burnet but once you get there it is a very relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Austin Quan Yin and Bryn Canuck if you are looking for acupuncture treatments!
Bryn is an incredible practitioner! She very understanding and listens to your concerns. I felt great after my first appointment with her! I highly recommend her to anyone looking to better their health!
I just received bodywork by practitioner Steven East this morning and, let me tell you, my body felt so light after the treatment. I have an injury in my neck that likes to stiffen up in the cold and Steven's bodywork left me feeling renewed. I also felt like I learned a lot in the hour of treatment! I highly recommend Steven for bodywork and knowledge on Chinese Medicine!
I've been seeing Bryn for months now and have had the best experience! My sessions are a huge help with stress management and athletic recovery. The highlight of me week is getting to relax on her table for an hour. I can't recommend Austin Quan Yin enough!
I've been a client for 8 years. Dianne has helped me deal with a great deal of health issues. She is very knowledgeable in acupuncture, Chinese herbs, homeopathy, nutrition, gut to brain connections, hormonal imbalance, allergies, adrenal and auto immune disorders, functional medicine perspective among others. She is realistic and honest about what she can help and what she cannot. She is also networked in Austin to be able to refer you to integrative practitioners if she cannot provide the service needed. Would definitely recommend to my friends.
I received a Tuina treatment from Steven East. I am amazed at his knowledge and expertise in asian body work. He explained everything to me about the scope of my treatment. He gave excellent pressure and I could feel him using several different techniques to alleviate my muscle imbalance and pain. I would highly recommend him. Not only is he a great practitioner but he is also a very compassionate person.
Dianne Duncan is amazing. When my immune system took a nose dive and I got thrush, I knew I needed more than prescription drugs, so I started acupuncture with another practioner, and while he/she was good, I felt they were missing something. After several months, and not much improved, I went online to find someone who might better suit my needs...Dianne is kind, thorough, and patient. I feel very blessed to have found her.
Bryn is amazing! Her calm and kind energy made me feel very comfortable. After trying many different therapies for regulating my cycle after getting off BC, Bryn was able to help with acupuncture and herbs. I couldn’t be more pleased with my progress! Bryn is truly a holistic healer!
Bryn is a great practitioner and I highly recommend seeing her. She is intuitive, caring and easy to talk to. I love how she takes a holistic approach to issues using acupuncture, herbs, functional medicine and more to help her patients. She has great experience with hormone balancing, headaches, pain, anxiety and overall health.
Diane from Austin Quan Yin is an absolute gem. She is both highly intelligent and empathetic. She is intuitive, kind, passionate, gentle, and warm. I immediately felt 100% safe and comfortable in her beautiful office.
Diane Duncan is a practitioner light years ahead of her time. I was pretty sick and not getting much from Md’s. Diane was able to help me heal. She supports you seeing regular dr.’s in conjunction with her treatment. She is compassionate, dedicated, knowledgeable and has MANY years of experience snd success. Going to see Diane is the best things you can do for your health
Over 10 years ago, I heard about Austin Quan Yin through my mother in law. She was a client for menopause symptoms and hormone imbalances. She told me Dianne Duncan was an Acupuncturist and I should see her about my back pain. I researched accupuncture and decided to try some treatments. During accupuncture treatments, I can feel my body warm and my muscles loosen up. The treatment works on relieving pain as well as a preventative care so i don't experience future discomforts. Also I have been Cupping over the last year and that has been great for my shoulders and back. And after that treatment, my husband rubs lotion on my back when I get home!
