About Nicole Fillion-Robin, L.Ac, MAcOM, Dipl. OM

Nicole Fillion-Robin, L.Ac, MAcOM, Dipl. OM, is a board certified graduate of AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Her philosophy of practice is to meet patients where they are while helping them live as they aspire to.

Nicole grew up trying to keep every bird the cat brought home alive and was set on becoming a veterinarian until she discovered that included euthanizing pets as well. Her maternal grandmother often cooked with herbs and many of her fond memories include shopping for for Chinese Herbs at the market with her mother before visiting her grandparents.

After working in the non-profit sector for almost a decade, she found acupuncture as a solution for her own chronic health problems and was immediately drawn to it. Her specialties include gastrointestinal health, women's health, palliative care, and pain management. She completed coursework and just under 1,000 clinical hours at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine and Chengdu TCM Hospital (Sichuan, China), as well as providing care at Austin Recovery Center, Seton McCarthy Community Health Center, and Kerrville Folk Festival. She worked for Remedy Urgent Care during her time in school, where she really nurtured her love for Evidence Based Medicine and was voted most "Obsessed with Patient Experience."

She has taught community Qigong classes at Seton McCarthy Community Clinic and AOMA's campus, and enjoys teaching patients to use mind-body movements to care for themselves at home.

Accepted Insurance Plans

Our clinic participates in most major insurance programs and networks. However, insurance plans vary in coverage so acupuncture is not a guaranteed benefit, even when Dianne Duncan L.Ac. is an in-network provider. In order to clarify coverage, we require all policies be verified prior to your appointment. Please verify your coverage under “Insurance Verification” or while scheduling an appointment using Zocdoc.
